day one: favorite friendship » katherine foxburn and theodore nott
this was such a hard choice because i adore so many friendships like aces or pavlav but in the end… i know it’s biased of me, but i couldn’t not pick them. i’m pretty sure i don’t have words to describe how much i love this friendship. i feel like they have such a unique friendship, where they don’t constantly have to tell each other how they feel for it to be validated. they’ll be with each other through anything, and nothing can ever tear them apart. they’re so alike and can therefore understand each other better than anyone else. the kind of bond they have and the way they love each other is just really amazing and beautiful to me. they have a special place in my heart, and i feel so lucky to be able to write them alongside taryn.

DAY ONE: favorite friendship - theodore nott & katherine foxburn
i might be biased in this one, but it’s only because i love scening these two so much. i feel like theodore and katherine have a very different kind of friendship, different than we’ve seen with other friends in both octavus and HF. they complement each other well and they really love each other, although neither has to profess it for the other to know. theodore admires everything katherine is, almost aspires to be as good as she is; katherine accepts theodore for who he is and is his rock, the one person he could not possibly live without.

I really love their scenes together — there aren’t nearly enough of them — because they have such an understated elegance and simplicity to them. Theo and Katherine listen to each other, and are really there for each other, when in need of advice or just a talk. Taryn and Vicki play them really well together, too. They bounce off of each other, and it’s always a treat to read about such a strong friendship like Theo’s and Katherine’s.
