Day 1 - Best Friendship - PARVATI & LAVENDER
Welp, apparently Keri and I had the same idea for this one! I can’t help but love these two. Jenny and Shar are amazing at keeping Lavender and Parvati’s friendship true to the books while giving these girls unique personalities of their own. Their scenes are hilarious to read and I lovelovelove their girlishness and supportive friendship. OH YEAH PAVLAV YEAH!

day 9 - crackship

richard orpik & merryl virtue -
This spans from my insane love of Liam and Annie on 90210. I think their charisma is amazing! And they look good together, am I right? I also think these two would be hilarious. While Richard and Merryl don’t hate each other, they are not a match made in heaven as far as HB and HB go. I love how they interact. As a couple, they would be flat out hilarious to write. <3

Day 8 - Couple you wish would happen

Dean/Luna (instead of Neville/Luna) -
Okay, rationalization time! I love Neville and Luna and think both Michal and Jelly write wonderfully, so that has no bearing on my thinking process. I was intrigued in DH by the firm bond Dean and Luna found after being held at the Malfoy’s and recovering at Shell Cottage. There are many sweet moments where Dean leads her away and pays attention to care for Luna. You can tell that Dean truly cares for her, which got me thinking of the idea. Someday, somewhere, I’d love to see what these two are like together.

Day Two: Favorite Canon Character (Female)
I absolutely love Parvati Patil. Whenever I read her scenes, I just LAUGH because I can’t help but think how perfectly spot-on she is. There is literally nothing I would change about her. I think that Shar has done an unbelievable job with her. Parvati’s energy is just so fun and flirty. I’m usually really picky about my Parvatis/Lavenders, but Shar and Jenny have both really impressed me with how spot-on I think they are!!

Day One: Best Friendship
My end-all favorite friendship in Octavus is Deamus. Aid is extremely easy to play off of, and she’s done an AMAZING job with Dean. While Seamus is crazy and ridiculous and just jumps off the page for me, Dean is hilarious with his insults and chill humor that just calms Seamus down enough. Their banter is absolutely hysterical. I really have to commend Aid on what a fabulous job she’s done with Dean! These two are one of my favorites to play.

Day 6 - Scene You’d Show Someone to Get them Hooked
I think it would be the train ride back to Hogwarts on the first day of school. There’s just a mess of emotions every where you go, from people who are glad to be returning for hopefully what will be a normal year, to apprehensive students still frightened by last year’s events, to those still grieving their losses, to friends making up, and enemies resuming their former hatred for the other. In every compartment, a new scene is taking place, with new characters and new problems, and new resolutions, and I think that reading any of them, and getting to go back on the train to the first day of school one last time, is just a fascinating scene to read, and often tugs at your heart strings, or drags you back down memory lane.

Day 5- Favorite Original Character (Male)
I love Brad Jenners. Maybe it’s because of the friendship Hayley and I have developed between him and Lena, but he makes me laugh. He really does. It’s such a joy to respond to Brad and get to be ridiculously snarky and constantly annoyed at him, and in real life I might feel the same on occasion, but that’s what makes a good character good: when you can picture them in real life and have an idea of how you would act towards them. There are other tell-tale signs of a good character, but I think Hayley just pulled Brad off very well, and with all of his complexities and inner frustrations, I’ve really grown to love Brad as a character.

Day 4 - Favorite Canon Character (Male)
Hmmm, well, again, there are like, five separate characters I want to go on about, but I think Blaise Zabini is my favorite canon male. I was never a big fan of Blaise in the books, but the way Eden writes him makes him much more real to me. While he isn’t necessarily the most agreeable character, he sticks by his choices, and, while he doesn’t value all that much, what he does value, he holds to high standards, and I can relate to that in some ways. We don’t know a whole lot about Blaise in the books, but Eden characterizes him so well, half the time I feel like it’s all JKR-worthy canon.

Day 3 - Favorite Original Character (Female)
Such a tough question, because there are seriously like, five different characters I want to talk about for each category, but I think I’ll go with Autumn Bettencourt, partially because she plays a huge role in Curtis’ life, and also because Adrienne is lovely to scene with. Autumn was kind of a shock to Curtis at first, but their friendship has grown into something so strong. Adrienne has created an unusual Slytherin, seeing as Autumn is friendly, outgoing, and studious, but she pulls it off so flawlessly, and I love watching Autumn grow as a character in every scene.

Day 2 - Favorite Canon Character (Female)
Luna Lovegood.
Jelly is fabulous in keeping Luna in character. She always has her head in the clouds and doesn’t care if her opinion on something is unpopular. Luna’s always been a favorite character of mine, and I think Jelly has done a wonderful job giving Luna the qualities I really admired in the first place. She’s just so innocent and thoughtful, and very, very sweet.
