DAY ONE: favorite friendship - theodore nott & katherine foxburn
i might be biased in this one, but it’s only because i love scening these two so much. i feel like theodore and katherine have a very different kind of friendship, different than we’ve seen with other friends in both octavus and HF. they complement each other well and they really love each other, although neither has to profess it for the other to know. theodore admires everything katherine is, almost aspires to be as good as she is; katherine accepts theodore for who he is and is his rock, the one person he could not possibly live without.

day six: scene you’d show someone to get them hooked - platform 9 3/4 / hogwarts express
It seems like an obvious answer but I think it really is perfect. It’s the first time you get to see all of the characters after a summer of being away from the school and after trying to cope with the defeat of Voldemort.

day five: favorite original (male) - christian morgan
I often tend to love the characters everyone is supposed to hate and Christian is definitely one of them. We have a lot of really great good guys but I think it’s hard to pull of the bad boy but I think Shar does it perfectly. When I’m reading a Christian post I can never decide if I want to scoff, swoon, or punch him in the face and I love that. And he’s hot.

day four: favorite canon (male) - neville longbottom
Neville has always been one of my favorite character but I was always sad that we never got to see him that much in the books and I just love the way Michal portrays him. When we did get to see Neville in the books it was before he got really BAMF and I love being able to see a more outgoing and confident version of him.

day three: favorite original (female) - ellie zini
Another one of the fiercest girls around! I love that while Ellie can be very feisty she also has a softer side that allows her to be friends with Justin despite what some must say. I also think she’s the only girl that could fight with Scarlett on an equal ground since they both know how to hit each other where it really hurts >].

day two: favorite canon (female) - parvati patil
GUUUUUUUUUURL, she is fierce and sassy and everything Parvati should be. It’s so nice to actually see Parvati have personality for once since we don’t really see her in the books and I think Shar has captured her really well.

Day 2 - Favorite Canon Character (Female) - PANSY PARKINSON
I can’t even describe my excitement when Nadya took Pansy, because it felt like Octavus wasn’t really complete without her. There’s something so fantastically DARK about her and Nadya has done an amazing job bringing her to life, and giving her a backstory and reasons for why she is the way that she is. I praise her unabashed bitchiness and her scenes with other characters, particularly Slytherins, because there’s no other character quite like the catty Pansy Parkinson. <333

Day 1 - Best Friendship - PARVATI & LAVENDER
Welp, apparently Keri and I had the same idea for this one! I can’t help but love these two. Jenny and Shar are amazing at keeping Lavender and Parvati’s friendship true to the books while giving these girls unique personalities of their own. Their scenes are hilarious to read and I lovelovelove their girlishness and supportive friendship. OH YEAH PAVLAV YEAH!

day one: favorite friendship - parvati & lavender
I don’t think I’ve read any other scenes in Octavus between two friends that made me feel like they’ve been bffs for years. I think Shar and Jenny are amazing at playing Parvati and Lavender and portray them almost as perfectly as I see them in my head.

day one; favorite friendship | ELLIE ZINI, ALMA WILKES, SCARLETT LEBLANC
okay so i know these three aren’t really friends anymore but putting that aside, i love how these three ran the school and were unapologetic in their snobbiness. they arealways so entertaining to read and i hope they stay stuck up bitches for. ever. <3 ;D
